Today’s woot.com deal of the day is the Timex iControl Ironman watch. It may look like any other standard workout watch. So what is so great about it? Two words .. iPod control. It can communicate wirelessly with your iPod and kind of acts like a wireless remote control for your iPod
How is this accomplished? Well it is pretty simple. You just plug in the accompanying dongle into your iPod’s universal docking port. And you are good to go.. just like that! According the the Timex iControl homepage, the iControl is compatible with a variety of iPod versions as given below.

- iPhone 3G/3GS
It is NOT compatible with iPod mini, iPod Shuffle or the first generation iPhone.

Apple’s a company I’ve enjoyed for some time, they produce gadgets that is visually beautiful while working like a charm. I can’t say that about alot of companies, it’s usually one or the other. Tech companies don’t usually take aesthetics seriously like Apple. With that being said I’ve got to say that I’m anxious about the new Tablet. One thing I question though, is it too soon? I think that this may be ahead of its time. What do you think?
