In Chandigarh: The District Consumer Dispute Forum aimed to mitigate Oriental Insurance Co Ltd, Rs 3,48,000 against insurance company to pay a car purchased by the complainant.
The complainant, Sudha Aggarwal, a resident of Panchkula, alleged that the company was deceptive trade practices and refused to offset against his new car stolen before they could obtain from the transport authorities.
The plaintiff purchased a Tata Indica V2 (DLG) diesel version is 14 mini-cars in May 2008 to RS 3,98,713 for which it has contracted a loan of Rs 3,48,000 from the State Bank of Patiala, Sector 8, Chandigarh. The 21 vehicles were stolen in June 2008, the case has been reported to the police and the company.

It was alleged that the company intends to submit the certificate of registration of the vehicle because he knew he had the same number of temporary jobs and then be registered on behalf of the complainant in the absence of physical vehicle presence.
