In this spirit, the Houston Zoo has established a revised schedule free day beginning September 1. Customers can now enter the Houston Zoo for free the first Tuesday of each month after 2 pm to closure. The first Friday afternoon free. The time and up to 6 hours, Central Standard Time. Houston Zoo anticipates this change will be better for everyone – especially now with 12 days off per year! Zoo admission increased to $ 11/adults and $ 7 for children 2-12 last December, so many days off are awesome.
