Google’s voice lets you manage all your telephone and make and receive calls without problems in any of their existing phones. But what if you do not have the phone with you? Or what if you are in a place with poor cell phone reception, or you’re traveling internationally and do not want to incur high roaming costs? Would not it be great if you could use your computer to make or receive calls? From today you can use Gmail to receive or make voice calls. To Google to start, check the box next to Google Chat on your phone list of transit and the next time someone calls your number of Google Voice, Gmail will notify you of an incoming call. You can take the call or even listen as the caller leaves a message in one step from your computer.

As soon as it is available in your account, you will see a telephone link in the sidebar called Gmail Chat. Click it, find a contact or dial your number, and voila phone call. If you already have a number of Google Voice, calls you make to Gmail will display the number of your voice on the caller ID of the person. You can also receive calls (if desired) made its voice number directly into Gmail, so it is an entirely legitimate VoIP solution.

Calls to the U.S. and Canada will be free at least the rest of the year and calls on other countries will be charged at very low rates. We have worked hard to make these low rates (see table of comparison) with calls to the United Kingdom, France, Germany, China, Japan and many countries for as little as $ 0.02 for calls made from minute. All Google’s Gmail will display Voice phone number as caller ID and all outgoing international calls use your voice calling credit and Google offer the same low rates the voice of Google. We take great care to ensure that our prices are so low as possible. For those of you not so familiar with international call rates, check out our comparison table.
